Guidelines for Slip-Resistant Shoes

An employee who suffers an injury due to a slip, trip or fall is typically out of work for nearly three weeks, and the injury results in an average workers’ compensation claim cost of $20 thousand. There are many ways to mitigate these types of injuries, including enforcing the use of slip-resistant footwear in workplaces where there tend to be liquid spills, like a restaurant.
